For 2020 the Rift Zone has been refined so that it represents the most modern 29” short travel trail bike possible. Marin took all the best attributes of the Rift Zone— MultiTrac suspension and the speed and confidence of 29” wheels — and gave it a full platform update to create the best Rift Zone yet, now offered with a carbon or aluminum front triangle. Rear wheel travel has been increased to 125mm, and updated geometry takes full advantage of the short fork offset for best-in-class handling, both in and out of the saddle. The Rift Zone is ready to make you smile from ear to ear, and best all your friends on every ride.
- FAST PACED, EPIC RIDES -
- PUSHING THE ENVELOPE UP AND DOWN THE TRAIL -
- CHASING PERSONAL RECORDS -
The Rift Zone Carbon 1 and 2 models feature high modulus carbon fiber and monocoque construction to deliver the lightest, most capable, Rift Zone that Marin has ever made.
29” wheels are the choice for fast trail riding and endurance-level efforts for their excellent rollover abilities and large contact patch.
MultiTrac is an acclaimed suspension system, fine-tuned to have a balanced ride capable of absorbing big hits with an efficient pedaling platform. The rocker link provides a progressive leverage ratio for the rear shock for small bump sensitivity and the feeling of a long travel system on large drops and rocks.
Rift Zone models are compatible with internally routed dropper posts, with internal rear derailleur routing for a clean look and snag free ride.
